The thinking
behind the craft.

I work on both
sides of the screen.
I’m Gamaliel, founder of Cojani Labs in Nairobi. I work across software architecture and UI/UX design, connecting how a brand looks, how its product works and how its team gets things done.
A booking screen is also a scheduling decision. An AI assistant is only useful if it fits the team’s workflow. I design those connections alongside the interface, so a good-looking product is also a useful part of the business.
I care about the type, the spacing and the way a screen responds. I also care about reliable systems, clear data and code the next engineer can work with. The software should do the heavy lifting. Your team has enough tabs open.

has a system behind it.
I follow the work from the person using the product to the people running it. These are the questions I keep coming back to.
A direct relationship.
A studio when you need one.
You might be creating a brand, building a product or connecting tools your team already uses. You might see potential in AI but need a clear place to start. I work with you to define what would be useful and how to build it.
We can start with a conversation about where you are. If the project needs the studio, I bring in Cojani Labs and lead the work with the team. You keep the same person involved from the first questions to the final details.
